Does Tidepool Pediatrics, LLC accept insurance?No; no insurance is required or needed for our visits. Our prices are competitive and reasonable. There are no enrollment fees to our service. Also itemized receipts are available for submitting to your HSA for possible reimbursement.

What can Virtual Visits treat?Similar to other pediatric teleheath providers we can treat but not limited to the following: Sinus issues, Colds, Coughs Sunburns, Hives, Rashes Eye irritations (especially Pink Eye) Newborn Care especially as concerns Breastfeeding Cuts & Scrapes (non-Emergent) Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea Sore throat Fever, Nasal Congestion Headaches, sleep concerns Allergies Skin infections, Diaper Rash Ear Infections as related to Swimmer’s Ear Pediatric health concerns Abdominal Pain School note for specific heath concerns as appropriate and needed Urination concerns Acne and more Many illnesses or issues requiring bloodwork, imaging studies. We have relationships with a lab company that has many affordable lab options. Our EHR also has lab integration with Quest and soon Labcorp. Imaging study orders (X-ray, Ultrasound) may also be ordered and sent via email or fax.

Who can have access to virtual and concierge Visits?Any pediatric patient with legal guardian and or approved representative.

What is the pediatric patient age range?Birth to 21 years of age.

What can mobile in-person visits treat?Concierge Visits can treat a lot: Middle ear infections, Strep throat, Asthma-Eczema flare ups, RSV, Flu, and similar health problems. Many procedures and labs are possible such as throat and wound cultures, urine analysis and urine cultures, specialized rapid blood tests for mono, H. pylori, lyme disease and malaria are also available. Many illnesses or issues requiring bloodwork, imaging studies. We have relationships with a lab company that has many affordable lab options. Our EHR also has lab integration with Quest and soon Labcorp. Imaging study orders (X-ray, Ultrasound) may also be ordered and sent via email or fax. Sports physicals are offered as well. We can make specialist referrals and may make specialist recommendations. but some insurances require an assigned PCP to make referrals. Concierge Visits do not treat emergent life threatening issues such as fainting, major lacerations, major Concussion, bone breaks, seizures, and other acute and or chronic health issues of similar severity that require ER visits

What acute after-hours care does NOT treat?Primary care in Pediatrics is so important and acute after-hours care does not replace this including the following: Well Visits, Immunizations, chronic conditions such as ADHD please see your primary care pediatric provider or pediatric specialist for these issues. Long-standing pediatric primary care providers are beacons in the community, We love our pediatricians!
